FinTech
Shroogal is a website and responsive app which provides financial advice to clients and businesses. Products which have had UX/UI completed include the Credit module which enables the user to use the app to find a loan and get "Shroogal approved" with credit analysts having a hand in securing the user the best market price from a larger vendor.
Conversational UI
Shroogal is a Fintech App which will automate financial advice as we know it. We are harnessing the power of actuarial, financial advisers, credit analysts, lawyers and tax accountants to provide a mathematical super brain to service home loans, investment structuring and estate division digitally. Conversational UI's were opted for due to the large gaps in user knowledge of the product and context, having a conversational UI meant we could bridge knowledge gaps for users, even the technology plane and assist them in completing goals rather than manoeuvring financial terminology and learning new systems for each task. This involved mapping user flows and iterating them often until every obstacle a user could potentially face had been accounted for. Due to the complexity of the product - integration with a C.U.I has been the most challenging and enjoyable experience with a future outlook on Machine Learning adopting the product.
Balsamiq Wireframing
BA & UX collaborate using Balsamiq to outline high level requirements. UX then takes the designs further applying design principles to make the product more user friendly.
Second Iteration
Low fidelity second iteration of BA & Product manager designs but now with UX application and content organisation.
Mobile first
This calculator allows users to calculate their total loan amount inclusive of government incentives for first time purchasers and government fees and stamp duty for investors and refinancers.
It has been designed for one handed use as our research proved users were generally using a tool like this during their commute to work on a mobile device over a computer. However, when committing to a product they would sign up on a desktop device.
Financial advisors, Actuaries and lawyers were primary stakeholders in designing this product as assumptions had to be explained to users in the footer. An index is applied to user living in different states as well as the number of dependents.
The results recalculate immediately as the inputs are changed.
Error handling
The nature of the products prevents results from being generated and live calculations from occurring if critical pieces of inputs are missing these are highlighted here for the dev team to visually prompt users.
